Pre-Surf Warm-up Exercises

Doing a surf specific warm-up before you hit the surf is important to reduce your risk of injury and to get your body prepared for paddling, duck diving, pop-ups, carving and other surfing manoeuvres.

The following video demonstrates a dynamic warm-up routine you can use to get your muscles and joints ready to surf in only a few minutes. If possible, start with a jog down the beach to get your blood flowing and muscles moving.
